When using SynthoGraft, how do I select coarse or fine particles?

Last Updated: Sep 03, 2013 12:36PM EDT
Usually, we recommend using the fine SynthoGraft particles for small graft areas including but not limited to: filling an extraction socket, repairing a missing bone wall, or filling the voids of an immediate implant placement following an extraction (molar sites).

The coarse particles are mostly used for large grafted areas: lateral sinus lift procedures, multiple bone wall grafts, large bone defects, etc.

As with any other procedure, the clinician must always use common sense when selecting the appropriate particle size for the area. In certain cases, a mix of both particle sizes may also be used.
